1. Educational Qualification:
Candidates seeking admission to the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) course must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized board, with Science stream as their subject combination.
2. Subject Requirements:
Eligible candidates must have studied either of the following subject combinations:
Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB), or
Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
It is mandatory that candidates secure overall pass marks and individually pass in both theory and practical components of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
3. Entrance Examination (Optional):
Candidates may appear for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE), a state-level entrance test conducted by the Government of West Bengal. On qualifying this examination, candidates can participate in the counselling process for admission to the Pharmacy course.
4. Direct Admission (Merit-Based):
Candidates who fulfill the above-mentioned academic eligibility (i.e., passed 10+2 with PCB or PCM and secured qualifying marks) may also opt for direct admission into the D.Pharm course without appearing for WBJEE, subject to seat availability and institutional norms.
5. Approved Boards:
We are authorized to admit students from various recognized education boards. The list of such boards will be provided separately for verification and reference purposes.
